“Think of it as upvoting,” the president commented on the site.

President Obama, who visited Reddit two months ago for a question and answer session with users, came back to the site early Tuesday evening. “I’m checking in because polls will start closing in this election in just a few hours,” he posted, “and I need you to vote.”

He then posted a link to directory of polling places, followed by a final plea: “Think of it as upvoting.” The full post below:
