Meet The First Teen With Down Syndrome To Score A Modeling Contract

Madeline Stewart is redefining beauty standards.

    Maybe you remember Madeline Stewart?

The teen from Brisbane, Australia was fed up with being out of shape and unhealthy, so she went on a journey to lose more than 40 pounds.

Once she checked that goal off her list, she decided to pursue her dream of modeling.

Just months after her transformation, Maddy wrote on Facebook that she booked her first couple of campaigns!

Here she is giving good face for Aussie bag company everMaya.

"She is so inspiring and she epitomizes all those ideals about what real beauty is, not superficial beauty, real beauty that is more than skin-deep," Damian Graybelle, co-founder of the brand, told Today. "The fact that she happens to be gorgeous is just a plus."

Maddy also scored a contract with body-positive fitness brand Manifesta.

    Check out those guns!

And that's just the beginning. Maddy's already booked a few more campaigns.

Though she's achieving her modeling dream, Maddy isn't stopping there: She also hopes to design her own clothing line.

Which is pretty dang inspiring to her nearly 400,000 fans on Facebook.

    Rock on, Maddy!
