People Say This Forever 21 Shirt Seems To Be Making Light Of Rape

The company says it is pulling the shirt from its website after an outcry.

So Forever 21 was selling this tee in its men's section.

And people were saying it is more than a little...head-scratching.

They said the shirt seems to play right into rape culture tropes and victim-blaming.

And as you can imagine, people were not happy with the company.

After receiving a series of complaints, Forever 21 said in a statement to BuzzFeed News it is pulling the shirts from its website.

"We sincerely apologize to anyone who was offended by the product," a spokesperson said.

This isn't the first time F21's gotten in trouble for what people called a tasteless tee. In 2011, the retailer was flagged for selling shirts that said "Allergic To Algebra," which critics said spread a tacitly anti-academic message to young women.

The company was also criticized for selling N.W.A. and City of Compton tees. After a public outcry, the shirts were taken off the Forever 21 site.
