“So I heard that the guy came into the theater about 25 minutes into the movie. And I don’t know if you’ve seen the movie. The movie’s pretty much a piece of crap … And I know that if, you know, none of that had happened, I’m pretty sure that somebody in that theater, about 25 minutes in, realizing it was a piece of crap, probably was like, ‘Uh, f*ckin’ shoot me.’”
Some people in the audience groan, but most laugh. And clap.
The shootings occurred one week ago today. Twelve people died and 58 were injured.

Seems to me that the audience he told it to found it funny so it did it’s job. If you want safe and completely inoffensive comedy, watch old Galleghwr.

I don’t know what part of this to condemn him for first. The fact that after the Aurora Theatre Shooting, a joke is made of this relating to the movie; or the fact this son of a bitch is still touting himself as a comedian.

Quira Cortei 9 months agoBut Dane Cook was never funny so…this comes off as “Oh look at how provocative I am saying a Theater Shooting joke. OOOOH” It’s all in the delivery, and Dane didn’t deliver; never has personally. Many chicks go see him because he’s “hot?”. smh.
