joachiml 9 months ago1948: Born in San Francisco, Victoria “Vicki” Manalo Draves wins both the 3M Springboard AND 10M Platform golds in the 1948 London Olympics. She was the first woman (American or otherwise) to win both platform and springboard golds in the same olympics, and yes, this means she’s the reason that Zoe Ann Olsen, your 1948 ‘amazing’ diver, won the silver. Once again, Vicki Draves is overlooked. Vicki should have been your 1948 Olympics amazing diver.
