World’s Happiest Countries

A study conducted by the World Values Survey (WVS), a global network of social scientists, has produced a list of the world’s happiest (and saddest) countries. And we’re #16. Researchers measured happiness through simply asking participants how happy they are and how satisfied they are with their lives. Interestingly, an incredibly high percentage of responses were correlated with the level of satisfaction with gender equality and race issues. On a less cheerful note, money was also a key deciding factor.
