Huey Lewis for “Pineapple Express”

Huey Lewis’ (of Huey Lewis & the News fame of course) composes original track for upcoming stoner comedy, Pineapple Express. Co-writer and co-star of the comedy, Seth Rogan, was able to convince Huey Lewis to compose the film’s title track. When propositioning Lewis, Rogan added that all he wanted was for “it to sound like his 80’s work that he loved so much.” With lyrics like, “I’ve got you, you’ve got me. We are as high, as we can be,” and copious alto sax bits, it’s tough to go wrong.
