therazz 3 months agoYou gotta feel geniuenly bad for the guy. I mean sure the move worked out alright for San Fran but it’s not as if they were floundering with him as the QB. NFC Championship game last year, and one of the best records before he was benched this year. Not to mention he was having the best year of his career.
Kaepernick is the better QB no one is denying that, but it’s sort of like the Drew Bledsode vs. Tom Brady situation. Smith is definitely a top 10-12 QB in the league at this point, and it’s never fun to see a guy lose his job because of a concussion. Hopefully he comes to New York next year and ends the Sanchize era. -
