aront 7 months agoThat’s cute, but high school bands do stuff like that all the time. The best college band is Texas A&M’s Fighting Texas Aggie Band. Instead of doing something like OSU’s band did once, the A&M band does these super complicated, intricate formations every week. And by the way, when you say they don’t call them that for nothing, “they” is themselves. Nobody else calls them that.

chellefran 7 months agoaront, you can’t really be serious that the video you posted is of the best college band. OSUMB does a different halftime show each week, with the same level of difficulty—other shows are posted by the user who uploaded this past weekend’s show. And yes, they are known as The Best Damn Band In The Land.

Dariana 7 months agoI’m from NY and even *I* know OSU as the ‘best damn band in the land’. Any legit marching band member has mad props for them, even if s/he doesn’t think OSU is the ‘best’. And yes, their moves are much more complicated than that you posted. Lines and 90 degree angles are jokes.

Despite being a member of the Michigan Marching Band, I have serious respect for OSU’s band. I wouldn’t call them the best though, but maybe I’m biased.
