Decent folks should stop trying to have a dialogue with them that doesn't start and end with “you are an evil person and should be ashamed of yourself.” Whatever else they say, just repeat that sentence to them again. i just find this whole case bizarre. i know people wanna say it was about race, but there was support from all ethnicities for davis. the fact that former FBI directors and other politicians wanted Georgia to reconsider, with the courts choosing not to?? i don't know. just weird. And it's not like the current people who ruled on it were the same people. just. odd.

I said it before, and I'll say it again. Ann Coulter can be as classless and tasteless as she wants. She is still going to die unloved and alone. And she knows it. Only someone that is completely miserable with themselves could have the outlook that she does.

I don't consider any of Ann Coulter's opinions valid. And this just gives me further reason to boycott the New York Post. It's the Fox News of papers.

What's really disgusting is this post.” No.  Even if we were to agree that capital punishment is a morally acceptable practice and that every person who kills a police officer ought to be put to death, there's still one problem with celebrating Troy's execution: he probably didn't do it.  “He was found guilty and sentenced to death in a court of law and the sentence was finally carried out. Justice was finally served!” Even if he was guilty, which is highly unlikely, it is absolutely unacceptable to put a person to death if there's any doubt as to their guilt. I know the law says “reasonable doubt,” but to paraphrase Atticus Finch, not even the tiniest bit of doubt ought to be allowed in the case of an execution. And in Troy's case, there was far more than reasonable doubt. No one who knows anything about this case can possibly claim that justice was served.

From what I've seen, it seems like the guy was guilty, but I still think it's wrong to execute him. Putting a murderer to death is just a reciprocation of killing.
