I dunno if police tell me to stop filming, i would stop filming. as an individual,a police officer or as a whole have the right to deny to be filmed just like anyone else. It is illegal to film or photograph anyone without their consent or if they tell you not to. the police where just exercising their rights as well. just with rubber bullets.

Oakland's police are definitely handling the protests differently than other cities. They don't represent every police department in the country, just like how some “bad seeds” in the occupy protests don't represent all protesters (**but then the protesters go and group everyone into the 99% just because they dont have a certain income, even though not everyone who isn't filthy rich agrees with the protests…funny how that works out)
