In what is likely a teaser of a Super Bowl ad, Mercedes had Kate Upton “wash her car.”

1. It starts out promisingly enough.

2. Kate and soap together seems like a promising choice.

3. Who doesn’t love a sultry Kate face?

4. And then with a heartbreaker of a walk, you’d think Kate is heading to wash her car…

5. And then BOOM. Mercedes is all “PSYCHE!” and she’s having some football players wash her car. Which means Kate was doing those sultry faces just watching them work. Which is bizarre, narratively speaking.
