Flannery O’Connor: The Cartoonist
Flannery O’Connor was a brilliant, funny, dark writer of amazing fiction. But it turns out that wasn’t all she was interested in. She was also a cartoonist. A collection of her work, Flannery O’Connor: The Cartoons, is being published this December by Fantagraphics. Here are some examples of her work.

turtlefeed a year agoI love these. She is an amazing writer too. Most people are familiar with A Good Man is Hard to Find, but I love the Everything that Rises Must Converge collection, particularly Revelation. I had no idea that she did cartoons too, so this is a nice surprise. :)
