eyesofpercept a year agoI think it’s pretty cool that her requirements are pretty much the same as what is demanded for her band and crew. I’ve seen some major diva riders so this is nothing. Props Adele for being so down to earth, at least for now.

Right… if her “best quality” means Beck’s, Stella, or Peroni, she’s clearly not a beer drinker.
“best quality European lager beer. ie Becks, Stella Artois, Peroni” = oxymoron.
As an American, I know she obviously doesn’t know about our craft beers or any craft beers, frankly.
Beck’s, Stella and Peroni all pale in comparison to any American craft beer. -

Well although people are arguing both way and they are both pretty much right I have to say that it annoys me some stars need every little thing or they throw a hissy fit, money really is the root to all evil people get rich because of they’re FANS then once they made enough money to last 2 lifetimes just live their lives out thinking they are entitled to everything… I hate people.

Coreyltd a year agoTypically artists have been known to throw very zany requests into their tour contracts. Over the years they have been interpreted to be pre-madonas but the truth of the matter is that tour contracts are very comprehensive. The venue has to be properly equipped with electricity, loading and unloading zones, proper seating, etc. Typically artists would throw these weird requests somewhere in the middle of a 145 page contract, not to be weird, but rather as a litmus to determine if the promoter or venue even read the thing. For example, Ozzy’s representatives would be able to tell if the promoter or venue carefully read the agreement by walking into his dressing room and seeing if they followed his M&M request. If they didn’t, they would be able to anticipate other problems such as inadequate docks, or lighting, or sound, or electricity.

…none of these demands are even weird. the food for before the show only has so many restrictions because she’s trying to avoid acidic foods pre-performance (whether for the sake of her voice or her stomach, or both). and to be fair, I dislike most american beer as well, and I live here (and for the record, I’ll take a guinness over almost anything).
