Depends mainly on where you are a Buddhist. Most older traditional Asian Buddhists that I know do believe in some sort of gods/deities (usually not a creator god though, that’s a bit incompatible with Buddhist teachings), these will change from group to group though. For example, many Buddhists in Thailand revere the Hindu deity Ganesha. I commented on a similar post with the analogy, asking whether Buddhists believe in a god/gods is sort of like asking whether Democrats believe in God. Most probably do, and that belief does intersect with and affect their practice of Buddhism/being a Democrat, but it’s not a prerequisite of membership or anything like that.
