As it turns out, primates are pretty much set up biologically for rape as the norm of reproduction, and saying that isn’t really controversial, and the implication that Scott Adams was justifying rape or other forms of male misbehavior with such a statement offends me intellectually. He was making a statement about the differing ways society helps males and females overcome their baser instincts, and how he feels that males are castigated and females are nurtured. Whether or not you agree with that should be the issue, not this silly out of text sensationalist headline.
