Oklahoma third grader Austin Worthen made a shot from behind halfcourt as time expired this past Saturday. While it may have just added to his team’s lead, his celebration shows a buzzer beater is fun no matter when it happens.

Coach Bee a year agoSure, let’s celebrate teaching kids to run up the score. By all means don’t be a good coach and just say, “hold the ball….get it across half court and hold the ball” or put on a good stall offense. Let’s teach our kids nothing about sportsmanship and everything about the “me” mentality.
