It’s funny though how much racist vitriol comes from non-whites when the slightest impression of racism presents itself from anybody Caucasian persuasion, but if blacks do it not matter how overtly there’s silence, especially in the media, especially from so called black leaders. “There is a class of colored people who make a business of keeping the troubles, the wrongs and the hardships of the Negro race before the public. Some of these people do not want the Negro to lose his grievances because they do not want to lose their jobs. There is a certain class of race-problem solvers who don’t want the patient to get well.” Booker T. Washington

kayt4 a year agoExactly, Why Washington is looked upon as a sellout. Go back and read what those so-called’ colored troublemakers’ were fighting against. The right for any american to vote, own property and anti-lynching laws. Also, you should learn how civil disobedience works and did work. The only reason there are any civil rights is because ‘trouble makers’ aka real american patriots keep issues public. Tell me how one can even think Washington was even in his right mind. If you think Washington was right back then -nothing, no matter how true, is going to change your mind today.
