In Zimmerman’s 911 call he said trayvon was running away. the operator said don’t follow. The girl who was on the phone with trayvon said he got away but the man found him later…that is probably how they ended up in the backyard

Brodka a year agoIf Zimmerman was a 28 year old black man who had called 911 regarding what he believed to be a 17 year old suspicious white guy and had approached him and asked what he was doing and the white guy ends up getting shot, it’s exactly the same case. We know they spoke to each other. We know there was a physical altercation prior to the shot being fired. What we don’t know is who started the fight. Who turned this from a verbal confrontation to a physical one. I’m not a fan of the Florida law here, but given the injuries to Zimmerman (and the apparent lack of injuries to Martin other than the gunshot wound) the prosecutor would have a tough time getting a conviction regardless of the race of the shooter. This case is more about ageism than it is about race believe it or not.
