10 Awesome Places To Shop In Your Late Twenties And Early Thirties If You're Plus Sized

1. ASOS Curve ($$)

In terms of plus size fashions that are actually on trend, ASOS Curve is a godsend. It can be pricey, but their sale section is always loaded with great finds. Most of their stuff is casual or clubwear, but you could put together a professional wardrobe from their pieces.

2. Forever 21 Plus ($)

In terms of trendy plus sized clothing on a budget, you simply cannot do any better than Forever 21 Plus. Their plus size collection has a little more sophistication to it than their regular lines, but you can still find anything from crop tops to workwear. If you're lucky enough to live in a biggish city, you can probably find their plus size section in store. If not, their prices make shopping online worth the risk. Alas, their sizes only run up to a 3X.

3. Etsy ($-$$$)

Etsy is such a great resource for plus sized women. There are several great vintage shops that cater specifically to plus sizes (Dollface Productions, Graybird Vintage, and The Big Girls Club (my shop) are just a few examples). There are also tons of plus size designers and designers who do custom sizing. It may take some time to find exactly what you're looking for in your price range, but if you love the hunt, Etsy is definitely for you.

4. Torrid ($$)

Torrid has really come a long way in the last couple years in terms of presenting a collection that is both on trend and suitable for adults. Their pricing is pretty reasonable, and their frequent sales are the icing on the cake. Again, they fall more on the casual side of things, but it's possible to find some nice work pieces there.

5. G-Stage Plus ($)

I only recently found out about G-Stage, and I'm so excited to add them to my shopping arsenal. Their prices are unbeatable, but their clothing (which is almost all casual and clubwear) can fall a bit on the ridiculous side. They also only go up to a size 3X and only ship to the continental US.

6. eShakti ($$)

Simply put, eShakti is amazing. Everything in their collection runs from a size 0-36, and also has custom sizing options. Their prices fall in the mid-to-high range, but you definitely get what you pay for. Their site, however, can be a little difficult to navigate.

7. Nakimuli ($$$)

With a small collection of bangin' swimsuits and outrageous statement pieces, Nakimuli is a great way to add some flare to your plus sized wardrobe. Their prices are high, but their pieces are truly fantastic and unique. Most pieces are available up to a 3X.

8. Re/Dress NYC ($$)

Re/Dress is a small online boutique selling collections from some up-and-coming plus size designers. Their website is, well, a bit of a mess, and it's hard to find information about them as a company, but I get the impression that they're still in the beginning stages and I'm pretty excited to see how they progress. Right now they've got some great statement pieces, some casual wardrobe staples, an unfortunate nod to the idea that all plus size gals want to dress like we just time warped out of the 1950s, and a small but promising "Masculine & Butch Stylings" section. It may be hard to find what you're looking for at Re/Dress right now, but they're definitely a retailer to keep an eye on.

9. Kristin Miles ($$)

Let me preface this by saying that I've had really bad luck with Kristin Miles in terms of customer service. Like bad enough that I feel dubious about even recommending them. That said, they have a singularly beautiful collection of casual and workwear pieces, and I'd be remiss if I didn't acknowledge that.

10. Domino Dollhouse ($$-$$$)

Domino Dollhouse is a fantastic newcomer to the fatshion scene. Their size range is wide and generous, their clothing is exceptionally well-made, and their customer service is second-to-none. I do think they spend too much time on the rockabilly look, which seriously needs to stop, and their collection may not be for everyone, but if you can find some pieces you like they're definitely worth the investment.
