When Powerpuff Girls went off the air, we went through the 5 stages of grief. First there was denial,
then anger,
bargaining,
depression,
and finally acceptance.
But our lives were empty without PPG. We longed for their cuteness,
their inappropriate jokes,
and their bad-assery.
They taught us that it's okay to be different,
that we shouldn't let people body shame us,
and how to be hardcore.
BUT THEN
Cartoon Network did something FABULOUS.
A PPG reboot!
At first wewere shocked. We didn't know if the news was fake.
But holy shit, was it real.
Then we didn't know if the new series would do the old series justice.
But then we remembered justice is what the girls are all about.
And then we rejoiced,
and screamed,
and cried,
and danced,
because this news rocks.
