I think the most disturbing single phrase in the entire article shows up in the first paragraph: “America’s leading conservative Christian political consulting firm”. The fact that such things exist is such an affront to the notion that religion gets to go its own way unmolested by the state and the state is not controlled by religion. If churches wish to participate actively in the political process — endorsing candidates and parties, etc. — then let them do so without impacting my taxes. In other words, they must abide by the “pay to play” rules that are now so popular with Congress and other politicians. Tax them!
