What about the fact that there are different silverware for different parts of the meal? Also what about the fact that there ARE different types of soup bowls based on what you are eating - deeper bowls for more broth intensive soups to keep the liquid temperature hot etc. Look at how high-end chefs/restaurants use plating techniques to both enhance the presentation AND the quality of the dish. There’s certainly no need to abide by ANY of these rules, but people have made glassware and tested them for specific drinks. Wouldn’t you WANT the proper glass for your martini so it doesn’t get warm? Also, just because you don’t care doesn’t mean you have to be a god damn internet troll.
