My boyfriend and I moved to the South for his great new job and I’ve been unemployed for six months, the first time not having a job since I was 16. It is literally the absolute worst, most ego-crushing, soul-sucking tragedy to ever happen to anyone.
I feel so ignorant now, because before I didn’t understand why people would be unemployed for so long (I’ve always lived in larger cities where it was bad but never awful) and now moving down to a small Southern town, I get it. Fuck, I wish I didn’t, but I do.  The icing on the cake is going to local businesses and offices that I’ve applied to and seeing/dealing with dumbasses that work there that can’t do their job properly. It makes me want to scream. Point being, I relate 200% to this post, and anyone else that does has my condolences.

UGH, PREACH IT.  Two shows come to mind for me - Kevin Devine, and KD with Bad Books. It nearly ruined the experience for me, and I felt bad for the artist(s)…these people are trying to perform and all they hear is giggling and and a bunch of mindless chatter.  WHY THE HELL did you pay money to go to this show just to chat with your douchebag friends? There are 362925182825282 bars in this city you can go and and be a loud asshole at for FREE and not disturb the rest of the people that paid to listen to the music.

They’re all stupid and they all say the same thing - people just repin what others have written, and it’s usually the words of the original pinner, so of course it’s something positive.  This article is dumb.
