    Chris Christie Joins A Long List Of Dancing Politicians

    Christie, in his return to late-night television, joined a long list of dancing politicos, which made us wonder, where did the tough-talking governor rank among other lawmakers?

    Chris Christie did not hold back in his dancing debut on "The Tonight Show" with Jimmy Fallon.

    The Republican governor broke out some classic dance moves, such as the lawn mower and the honk the horn. Whether his booty shaking is as good as his budget balancing is open to debate.

    President George W. Bush

    In 2007, then-President George W. Bush did some hip and shoulder-shaking with a West African dance company in the Rose Garden of the White House. The event was the first time the White House marked Malaria Awareness Day and also saw Bush on the drums.

    In 2007, Barack Obama, who was a candidate for the White House at the time, danced to Beyoncé's hit "Crazy in Love" on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show." He was complimented by the comedian, who told him, "You got some moves."

    In March, Rep. John Lewis, (D-Ga.), danced and sang along to Pharrell Williams' "Happy" in two videos. "This is my song," Lewis said in one video. "Nothing can bring me down." The 74-year-old tweeted a link to the videos posted to YouTube and wished everyone a "wonderful International Day of Happiness."

    Not to be outdone, Rep. Charlie Rangel, (D-N.Y.), tweeted a video of him dancing at his 80th birthday party in August 2010, with the message: "@repjohnlewis My dear friend, you're my personal hero, but you just got served."

    Toronto Mayor Rob Ford

    Rob Ford, the embattled Toronto mayor, who has admitted using crack cocaine, broke out in dance during a council session. Earlier this year, Ford declared Feb. 6 to be Bob Marley Day. Along with the announcement came his dancing to the reggae legend's track "One Love." (It's unclear if he was sober at the time of this dance.)
