alisond3 3 months agoscrolling through these comments i’m actually really surprised that most of them are respectful. i fully expected to see mostly “fatty fat fatties, disgusting” type comments since that’s what the internet is normally filled with. although, it looks like most (not ALL of course) of the comments are made by females so I guess that makes sense.

michaelm60 3 months agoI mean, these women are “plus size” (some more then others) in that they wear larger sizes, but they are all still incredibly beautiful and hot. But who ever said “plus size” meant “ugly” or “unattractive”?

MMR 3 months agoTrolls like my brother-in-law think plus-sized is synonymous with ugly. He’s a horribly out-of-shape beer guzzler complete with beer gut. I wouldn’t want to judge someone by their looks, but for this purpose, it’s pertinent. He thinks any woman who is even close to a size 8 is a “gross, fat pig.” Yes—his words exactly. He thinks all women with the exception of perhaps half of the current top supermodels are just “2/10 would not bang.” He’s what I think of when I read that people think Kate Upton is disgusting. That’s the kind of troll who would make that comment.

In a logical world, trolls like him would never get laid. But—in the real world, there are LOTS of girls with low self-esteem and are bad at recognizing the red flags. The trolly brother-in-law is also recently divorced. He did what he’s trying to do again—he got married to a lady with low self-esteem. It took her a decade, but she moved on. Now he’s dating again and it defies all logic since he’s so creepy—by he found ANOTHER girl with low self-esteem because it worked SO WELL for him the last time. If you’ve ever seen Shallow Hal, that’s basically my brother-in-law right down to getting together with “former fatties.”

taliaha 3 months agoI don’t think the post is being clear with their point here. These ladies are considered plus in the industry, but that’s a problem for consumers. They tend to work for plus sized companies-where the target audience is not 8/10, 12, 14 or even sometimes 16. Their target audience are the 18s, 20s-30s. What sucks for these consumers is that they can’t see how the clothes are going to look on average plus sized women. They’re not going to sit and lay the same way on Denise Bidot’s body and on a size 28 lady. So I’m thinking the point, and I can be totally wrong, is that what the industry is labeling plus sized does not represent plus sized women.

cecilialovinitk 3 months agoI am a size 4 and almost a woman according to Alexis here…My boobs are a natural D at the moment…will be DD soon I bet, since Im 15 weeks pregnant LOL….I do hope to dewomanize after the baby is here and get back to my normal boobs as soon as possible! I love being fit, able to run a couple of miles. I prefer being a fit fake woman over a bigger real woman if that’s the deal!

I’m not saying skinny girls aren’t real, but I also don’t appreciate people assuming bigger girls are unfit. I eat healthy, run 25 miles a week, hike, swim, and play sports. I’m also a size 12. Everyone’s body is different. Even at the best shape of my life in high school I was still a size 10 but there was not a jiggle on my body. All women need to appreciate the size they are and stop judging those that are bigger (or smaller) than them.

Kalyn 3 months agoA bigger real woman can be fit too.. I don’t consider myself thin nor big, natural and fit. I would consider myself one of these girls. Mind you, I crossfit, run, workout, eat a well-balanced and healthy diet… Fit and bigger.. I’m a 36 chest and a natural DDD.. Also big boobs don’t affect my ability to work out. So being fit has little to do with some ladies’ body shape..

plus size does not mean not sexy, just means plus size. people are making issues of things that are clearly not issues, like what size equals plus size. who gives a shit. -
