I wish I had an image of my paycheck to show everyone just exactly what happens to servers. I got taxed on 10% of EVERYTHING I sold b/c the government (in the US) calculated that I should be making at least 15% in gratuity. After 40 hours of work I made $100-200 tops in my paycheck. Who could REALLY survive off of that? People need to be educated before they voice such cruel opinions… no money is free and legitimate restaurants tax their servers whether or not you tip them.
