Response to 15 Minimalist Hacks To Maximize Your Life:
This list should be called “15 photos showcasing urban single hipster dwellings from people who shop at Urban Outfitters, H&M, and IKEA.” Who hangs magazines on wire coat hangers? Half of the minimalist appeal of those photos was the architecture and layout of the space. If the entire room is minimalistic in design, minimalism is going to appeal to it. Try decorating and organizing any average apartment like that and it will just look bare, boring, and empty. Furthermore, all of these pictures just scream “pretentious.”
I think it’s safe to classify YFW as pop punk-esque. But anyone knows that album is in no way a testament to BN’s identity. So you are correct that BN is not pop-punk.
I don’t know what’s funnier. This horrible list itself or the reviews that accompany it. Or that fact that the author isn’t old enough to remember when all of the good bands were in their prime (NOFX, Rancid, Blink, Descendants, STD)
This guy must not beapop-punk/punk fan at all but someone who was assigned this post. Putting Saves The Day and Jawbreaker on the same list as Good fucking Charlotte and Simple Plan is unforgivable. What about MxPx-Life In General and Slowly Going the Way of the Buffalo as well as The Ataris-Blue Signs, Broken Hearts…Next 12 Exits. San Dimas is the high school pop-punk anthem for any guy stricken with young love. No mention of No Use ForAName, Lagwagon, or early Weezer! This should be called “36 albums thatanon-punk fan thinks are punk as defined by mid early 2000s MTV.”
