Good for him! He helped save some babies' lives by helping the mothers reconsider abortion. If they weren't there those babies wouldnt be alive and going to adoptive parents. I'm sure they'll thank him when they grow up.

I am happy the amendment passed because when you look at the issue from a spiritual perspective, the marriage relationship is meant to fulfill the union between the masculine and the feminine. This is how God created us to be. People who identify as being gay are expressing a spiritual imbalance (not something God created them to be), and legalizing gay marriage not only lets them ignore this and accept it as normal, but also teaches kids that homosexuality is right and good.  There is so much hate coming from the pro-gay marriage people. I wonder what would they do if they one day found out it was a fact that God did not approve of gay marriage. Would they still support it? If so, that would mean they put their own selfish will over doing God's will, and that is the reason there is so much degradation on the earth. I pray that all those who love God's will above their own are protected from the hate sent against them.

The most hateful people seem to be atheists (not all, some are indeed kind and good people)… But the hateful ones, many on this board, truly seem hate Christians and anyone who believes in God. They put down belief in God as stupid and all believers as childish idiots. This is because they don't understand that the Spirit of God first comes in your heart and not in logical understanding. I do agree with the sign, that there are Christians who are truly hateful (and I'm not talking about being against sin, which is loving another person enough to want them to do better). I'm sure God prefers the atheists that are good people.

I believe true art is meant to elevate us… and much of his art does, in it's beautiful depiction of natural settings. The use of colors and lighting inspires something in my heart. I don't much like the Disney ones, but others I do very much. At least he was paining beauty, unlike a lot of modern art, which celebrates ugliness and banality.

Jesus followed loved God's Will and followed God's laws above all else. Gay marriage is not within God's laws or Will. Hence, Jesus wouldn't condone gay marriage. Doesn't mean he doesn't love gay people, but he wouldn't accept a sexual perversion as right and good.

Some of them aren't bad. You can really see the difference in skill sets of tattoo artists… without the talent to do it, the shadowing is a really bad idea.

Taxpayers shouldn't have to fund abortion providers if they are morally opposed to it (which half of all people are). I'm all for funding of preventative care for women, just not from an abortion clinic. Why did the Obama administration cut funding to non-abortion womens health clinics in Texas, and yet that wasn't an issue?  Plus Planned Parenthood is under investigation for fraud, based on claims from their OWN employees, that they overbilled the government millions, and misrepresented services on their claims.

I think you can make the comparison that, in the 1800's, many people did not see slavery as morally wrong because they didn't see black people as real people, but a lesser race. Just like today, where people who are pro-choice see fetuses as a “clump of cells” thus making abortion NOT morally wrong to them. Obviously, slavery was wrong, and nobody can disagree with that today. Perhaps the perception of abortion will change over time as well, if people come to see fetuses as human lives.

He stated his beliefs in a respectful way, even though he knew he would get a lot of hate in return. Good for him. If he believes God doesn't approve of gay marriage, then of course he would be against it. He didn't say he hated gay people.
