Over the past few years, people have complained that Hobart's Christmas decorations have been "the worst in the country".
So this year, Hobart Council decided to step up their game with this ~edgy~, ~modern~, and ~funky~ tree, which cost $35,000 to erect.
Too bad everyone seems to hate it.
And no one thinks it looks like an actual Christmas tree.
Especially considering the price tag.
And people were quick to compare it to trees around the world.
This guy's got an alternative for them.
A Christmas tree farm in Tasmania is jumping on the bandwagon and using this as a great chance to advertise.
Arguably, it does look pretty cool once you get inside the tree, which is probably the reaction that Hobart Council was going for.
Maybe it just needs a little love...?
