Completely Redesinged 2015 Ford Mustang
Ford created a huge splash last month with the debut of the all new redesigned 2015 Mustang. Many people are completely unaware that this is a total redesign of the entire platform. That means total, for those of you keeping score at home.
Not a single part from the old Mustang exists on the new 2015 model.
When you want to evolve, you have to leave the past behind and start from scratch. We compiled this list for you of the 11 most noticeable changes you'll see in the 2015 Mustang. Some of them are vast improvements in engines, suspension, interior design ergonomics.
This ain't your father's Mustang:
1) The 2015 Ford Mustang is not based on any previous Mustang platform
2) There's 3 new engines including new EcoBoost 2.3L 4-cylinder
3) Brand new never before used on a Mustang Independent rear suspension
4) Brand new front double ball joint Independent Suspension with McPherson Struts
5) All new new exterior design with a shark nose front inspired by the classic 1964 Mustang
6) New design adds the triple tribar LED "shark gill" head lights on front of GT model
7) Much more bold, more distinct tribar LED taillights on the rear end of the car
8) New driving lamp design has them removed from the front grill
9) Passenger Cabin was moved more towards the rear, and hood was elongated
10) Rear wheels were spaced farther apart for a much bolder new look
11) Interior was totally redesigned with metal, leather, round gauges, jet cockpit theme
