Almost Every Teen Has A Facebook Page, While Almost None Of Them Are On Pinterest

New study shows that teens are more active on Facebook and Twitter, while adults prefer Tumblr, Instagram and Pinterest. Apparently, teens aren't big fans of pictures of food or crafty wedding ideas.

Turns out teenagers don't really like Pinterest. Who knew? According to a few recent studies by the Pew Research Center, way more teens use Facebook than adults do. Teens are also big fans of Twitter, while adults are bigger fans of Pinterest, Instagram and Tumblr.

Not surprisingly, more teens are on social media than adults, although the data suggests that teens are more interested in the more established social networks than new networks like Tumblr and Instagram, which is surprising because teens are usually thought of as early adopters. Interestingly, it seems as though adults in their 20s are more likely to be on social media than teens. This recent study also shows that teens are more likely to ask for advice when it comes to their online privacy.
