Reddit Loves Him So Pope Francis Must Be The Devil

Reddit has 58,000 subscribers to the Christianity subreddit. If you combine the total subscribers from the eight major religious subreddits, it comes to 140,000. Compare that to r/atheism's 1.8 million subscribers and it's easy to see that the site leans away from organized religion. Combine that with the fact that the Catholic church has been nothing but the butt end of jokes on Reddit since the beginning of the site and it makes the unnatural popularity of Pope Francis that much more shocking. Take a look at 10 of the most popular Pope Francis posts on Reddit the last month and then decide: is he the devil?

You may not be surprised that the largest expense for a parent is housing — and that has been the case for the last five decades. How much more can you expect to spend on your mortgage or rent once your first bundle of joy arrives? Take a look at our infographic, where we break down the cost of moving to a house with one additional bedroom (even including the added cost of utilities for that bedroom) by region and income level, along with many other interesting details. “When the Chips Are Down, These Civilized People, They’ll Eat Each Other.”

There were many possible titles for this particular image. It is both amazingly adorable and grotesque in its insinuations. We tapped into several social media communities to try to find the right title, finally going with the quote from the Joker during the interrogation scene from The Dark Knight. (via: Top Cultured)
