YouTube user Lifeguard Rescue posted a video of a child almost drowning at a pool earlier this summer.

For the first part of the video, the child almost goes unnoticed...
... But around 40 seconds in, the child can be seen struggling to stay afloat in the pool, and is promptly rescued by the lifeguard.
According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission about 300 drowning deaths of children younger than 5 occur each year in swimming pools. What's even scarier is most of the victims were only missing for five minutes.
