Ten Reasons Why I Love Tito Emil Carlos

So of course there's more than ten, but why not start with these? (especially since you know, it IS our 10th monthsary) ;) The longer we're together, who knows, the list might just keep on growing and growing. <3

1. Patience

I don't think I need to explain this too much. I remind you all the time of how patient you are with me, especially during my time of the month. (You know, that time when my teeth grow out and I tend to bite people who don't breathe the way I want them to, lol. JK...ish)

I just really appreciate how understanding you are with my behavior sometimes. I'm amazed that after everything you've seen, you still actually want to be with me! If that's not love, I don't know what is.

2. Humility

You are non-egotistical. Seriously. You're not the type of person who makes everything about them. You're not someone who self-serves. I believe that was one of the traits that attracted me to you, since I felt as if we were similar in that sense, so we share the same struggles of people who almost always puts others first.

In our relationship, you ask me what I want to do sometimes. You take into account my desires/plans. You don't only just focus on yourself.

3. Slowness to Anger

... or rather CALM in a storm. When you're angry, you don't lash out. You don't yell at me, and THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU soooo much for that. Seriously, you don't know how much I appreciate that. Growing up, being yelled at was the worst thing for me. I feared it the most---even more than the belt lashes. So, once again thank you for not yelling at me. <3

4. Happiness

You add happiness to my life. I look forward to our phone conversations, physical meet-ups and just hanging out with you in any way, shape or form. You are amazing. If you weren't, why would I want to spend that much time with you?

5. Humor

So this relates A LOT to happiness. You're known for being funny, quirky and dorky, Tito Emil--even when we were just friends. I think this was one of the reasons why I wanted to hang out with you a lot when I just saw you as a friend. You just added positivity to the group.

Remember that one time we went to get kbbq with Mark, Eddie, Luise and Char2x? I was really rooting for you to come with us. You had some coord stuff to do beforehand, so you RAN all the way to De Neve, and I was like, YAY TITO, come join us! I would really love your company! But of course, I kept it all in the inside, hah.

6. Ability to Forgive

This relates a lot to being patient (see number 1) and being slow to anger. You forgive me. I yell at you, and you forgive me. I make irrational requests, you forgive me. [I don't actively find a way to get you in our first after-party together, but you still spent the entire night with me!] I cry over stupid-ish things, and you don't disregard me. You actually try to stop the tears and make me happy. WHAATTT, who does that? An awesome boyfriend does! And that's what you are. :)

7. Honesty

You're real. I know sometimes you may not want to say that you're playing COD to make me feel better, but you end up telling me anyway (at least, I think so). Haha. Anyway, your honesty reaches more than just what you tell me. You're an honest person, which means you're genuine.

When I was getting to know you as a coord, I was just somehow attracted to your genuineness, and nothing much has changed really.

8. Perseverance

Dude, you don't give up. Yes, you've struggled here and there (#struggles), but you keep moving forward anyway! And I LOVE YOU for that. When I ask you, "What are you going to do if you don't get accepted to grad school?" You say, "I will get in, it's just a matter of when." I need to emulate that!

In terms of our relationship, you persevere, my dear. Forreal. You haven't gotten close to giving up on us, and thank you, thank you, thank you!

9. Dislike of Gossip

Baby, you do not dishonor others, meaning you don't like talking smack about them, and I really admire you for that. I complain a good amount, so I know I need to do less gossiping. I feel as if your dislike of gossiping is a great attitude since it allows you not to focus on people's negative traits.
