Thanks for pointing that out … I get so tired of everyone thinking we actually say “Nawlins” … for some reason, people seem to think we talk like Civil War era Georgian plantation owners. It’s pronounced “New Orlins” with the two words sort of smashed together, so it’s actually more “NooWorlins” with inflection on the “wor” part. Dammit. Oh, and the oil is projected to make it into the freshwater swamps if it continues, which it’s doing. And that’s not to mention if a hurricane comes along with a nice storm surge to push all that oil into the area.
