Not against him getting a free meal for his birthday. I enjoy them myself, but to complain about it. I honestley think that he probably didn't leave a tip either.

Its a meal at Red Lobster ppl, get over it. Its not meals for life, geez! Im sure anyone that got a free meal voucher at RL would be happy to get, but most wouldnt even go. If thats all he wanted for his birthday, which i think is pretty sad, then good for him for getting it. Who cares. Life goes on.

There are people dieing everyday because their government is killing them and all these people care about is some white trash getting free Red Lobster on his birthday. WTF kind of priorities are those?

As someone pointed out, this is some of the best publicity Red Lobster has ever received. Only fools focus on a free meal given away. We used to do these on the radio with restaurants. Give away a free meal for a birthday, and the winner brings in family or friends and they spend lots of money, when they may have gone somewhere else. This is actually a huge WIN-WIN. People will be talking about this for weeks. It's marketing 101.

It's nice that Red Lobster gave the guy a meal, but seriously, all he did to get is whine about it until Red Lobster gave in. What else can we whine about until someone gives in? I don't understand what makes this guy so special. Everyone in this country has a birthday every year - should we just whine until 350 million free meals are given away? The whole thing seems stupid to me.

Are these people under the impression that Red Lobster is a branch of the government? Or that our economy is somehow hinged on the profits of Red Lobster? I don't get the rage.
