The reason that the girls toys are pink and kitchen-related is because that’s what the MAJORITY of little girls enjoy playing with (note that I said majority and not all). If your daughter likes playing with cars instead, then buy her toy cars - the catalogue isn’t stopping you. When I was little I enjoyed playing house, and I played with barbies, and I had a toy kitchen. I still graduated near the top of my class in university and now work in a predominantly male field. Sometimes toys are just toys.
