Maren W. 11 months agoWell…perhaps your nebulous source was wrong? If you simply follow the link accompanying the picture, it says that the photographer and even the location are not certain. (And yes, the Buzzfeed post should be clearer about that.) The exact provenance is probably impossible to pin down at this point, but most sources online say that he’s in Marseille watching some French army units leave for North Africa, where they would be organized as Free French forces.
