How Would You Pass For Black?

Yes, sistah gurl, you will learn how to do braids, twists, and even clip-in weaves like a pro before you open up your own salon. Your downfall will be not realizing a black hair salon is a one-stop shop for incense, bootleg DVDs, and oil paintings.

Ethnic hair stylist

You will immerse yourself in black culture so much that you will teach a course about it at a prestigious college. Unfortunately, you'll give passing grades to white kids and tell black kids that they don't "know their history" well enough.

Teaching an African-American studies course

You will take a scholarship from a black student at a school originally created for black students who could not be educated at white schools. Oh well. Just don't try to enroll in Hillman College. (It's not real.)

Attending an HBCU

You won't seriously have to fake your racial identity, you'll merely look ethnically ambiguous enough to get cast in ethnic roles in Hollywood.

In Hollywood

Social media is your playground. You will pretend to be black online from the safety of your own home, jumping into conversations about race and playing devil's advocate.

On the internet

You love black culture so much you want to be ingrained in it forever. That's why starring in a Newport ad is essential. You can look like you're having a great time, just playing cards and jivin' with your brothers and sisters!
