Ranking Every "Big Brother" Contestant From Worst To Best

Expect the unexpected as I rank every Big Brother contestant through season 16.

195 houseguests over 16 seasons. Some have played more than once. Some played for a matter of days. But how do they stack up against one another? Let's find out.

    193. Adam Jasinski

    192. Braden Bacha

    Season: 11

    Placed: 13th

Braden is one of David Girton's Big Brother ancestors. He was misogynist and racist, which aired on the live feeds and not on the show. He called Kevin a "fucking beaner" and ended up getting kicked out of the house first. His racist rants didn't air on CBS, but they were caught on the live feeds.

    191. David Girton

    Season: 15

    Placed: Last

This fun houseguest commented that sheets in the house smelled bad because "black Candice" was on them. Aside from making racist comments, he also got bounced first his season. Good riddance.

    190. Justin Sebik

    Season: 2

    Placed: Last (Expelled)

So, Justin was nuts. He repeatedly threatened to do bodily harm to houseguests and also held a knife to Krista's neck while making out with her. She seemed into it as well, which, okay girl. He was removed from the house by producers.

    189. Scott Weintraub

    Season: 4

    Placed: Last

The twist for season 4 was "X-Factor," which meant several contestants were playing with their exes. When Scott's ex Amanda walked in, he completely lost it and over the next few days had several histrionic moments in the house before he was finally removed by producers.

    188. Amanda Craig

    Season: 4

    Placed: 12th

After her crazy ex Scott was pulled from the house, Amanda seemed to lose her own mind and sense of playing any sort of game. She hopped into bed with David in the Head of Household room and had the first televised sex scene on Big Brother (it wouldn't be the last). She was unanimously evicted from the house days later.

    187. David Lane

    Season: 4

    Placed: 10th

Well, at least he had sex with Amanda? He went out the house not too long after she did.

    186. Dana Varela

    Season: 4

    Placed: 9th

EVERYONE ON SEASON 4 WENT HOME BECAUSE OF THEIR LIBIDOS. Ahem. Dana was in the Elite 8, an alliance that wanted to get rid of all the exes in the house during the X-Factor season. But she started flirting with Justin and turned on her alliance. Her treachery was short-lived, she was evicted soon after.

    185. Willie Hantz

    184. Holly King

    Season: 5

    Placed: 12th

Oh, girl. She was seeing Jase while in the house and none of the other guys liked that, so they aborted plans to save her because of it. I do feel bad for her, however, because she had no idea none of the other houseguests liked her until she had a big blow-up with Diane. Holly skipped out on the All-Stars season to avoid playing with Jase again. Good move.

    183. Jeff Schroeder & Jordan Lloyd

    182. Adam Poch

    Season: 13

    Placed: 3rd

Jeff and Jordan's live-in cheerleader. And he voted for Porsche in the jury vote, so like, what game was he even playing?

    181. Neil Garcia

    180. Michael Donnellan

Michael sexually harassed other houseguests by giving them unwanted kisses and when April voiced her disgust to Eric, he spoke to Michael and told him to cut it out. Michael started ranting that any women who didn't like his unwanted attention should have the "spine" to confront him about it. Because women ALWAYS feel safe telling a man they don't want him sexually harassing them, and NEVER feel like he might retaliate, right? Luckily, after his blowout with Eric, Michael got booted from the house and he never got the chance to turn into a Caleb Reynolds (you'll see).

Also, like most sleazy guys, he got rich and ended up on Millionaire Matchmaker. Patti even pointed out his control issues when it comes to women.

    179. Joe Barber

    Season: 8

    Placed: 13th

Joe was messy. His rival in his season was his ex-boyfriend Dustin. The first day in the house, Joe told everyone that Dustin gave him gonorrhea. Unable to evict him right away, they sent Joe out the house second.

    178. William Collins

    Season: 1

    Placed: Last

Season one of Big Brother is a thing to behold. I'd never seen it, so I had to watch it all before this ranking and I can now see why the show got a makeover that started in season 2, but was fully in effect by season 3. The show is basically a documentary first and a game show later. It takes 16 days for the first houseguest to get evicted and everyone has serious discussions like the first season of The Real World, only much more boring. They talk about breast implants, the morality of exotic dancers, and of course, race. William caught heat before joining the show because he was a member of the Nation of Islam and said racist things about Jewish people, then he got in the house and called all the white contestants racist. He wasn't wrong in his depiction of white privilege in America, but his soapbox was so completely obnoxious and self-pitying. His rants about being a poor black man in America who needed the money fell on deaf ears and he was the first to go.

Of course during this season, everyone nominated someone for eviction (there was no HOH) and the two people with the most votes were decided upon by America. William's exit wasn't a surprise.

    177. Kara Monaco

    Season: 14

    Placed: 15th

She was put up for eviction by Willie, so he probably imagined she was a demon or something. At any rate, she's killing it as a model on Playboy and shit so she doesn't need my ranking opinions.

    176. Kail Harbick

    Season: 8

    Placed: 10th

Kail outed everyone in her alliance, then wanted to leave the show until producers convinced her not to. She stayed and got to wear a bunny suit.

    175. Brian Hart

    Season: 10

    Placed: Last

He teamed up with Dan, which was a good thing to do, but he had so many schemes right off the bat that the rest of the house was like "nah, you can go."

    174. Jacob Heald

    Season: 9

    Placed: Last

    LOL. Who?

    173. Ryan Quicksall

    Season: 9

    Placed: 2nd

Ryan was almost as bad as Adam. But he'll be forever remember for the time he had sex on TV for all of fifty seconds.

    172. Ronnie Talbott

    171. Mike Dutz

    Season: 8

    Placed: 12th

Mike is a model who tried distracting Dick during a Veto competition so he would lose. It didn't work. Mike went home.

    170. Jeremy McGuire

    Season: 15

    Placed: 14th

A sexist who got backdoored, because the house liked him as much as the viewing audience did. Translation: No one liked him.

    169. Mike Lubinski

    Season: 5

    Placed: Last

A finalist for the 4th season who didn't make the cast, Mike made his way into the 5th season. Unfortunately, he tried to go after heavy hitters right out the bat and got eliminated first.

    168. Carol Journey

    Season: 8

    Placed: Last

Carol fell victim to the Rivals twists. Her ex-best friend Jessica came into the house and the two couldn't get over their drama quick enough for Carol to save herself from going out the door first.

    167. Ashlea Evans

    Season: 6

    Placed: Last

Ashlea was Janelle's partner in the SECRET PARTNER TWIST of the season. The secret partner business didn't really amount to much, and certainly not for Ashlea.

    166. Cassandra Waldon

    Season: 1

    Placed: 6th

Calm and level-headed! Absolutely a recipe for reality television! (It's not.)

    165. Annie Whittington

    Season: 12

    Placed: Last

This evil woman left us with Ragan as the Saboteur in her place, which I will never forgive.

    164. Steven Daigle

    163. Nick Uhas

    Season: 15

    Placed: 15th

Bro, how do you create an alliance and then have your alliance turn around and vote you out?

    162. Michelle Maradie

    Season: 4

    Placed: 11th

Poor Michelle. No, not that Michelle. I mean David's ex who sat in the house during the X-Factor season while he had sex with Amanda in the HOH room, just days after Amanda's ex was removed from the house by producers. Michelle was put up on the block by Jee as a pawn, which of course, meant Michelle got evicted. As pawns always do (unless you're Spencer Clawson, but more on him later).

    161. Lori Valenti

    Season: 5

    Placed: 13th

This queen took a $10,000 prize in a competition and made the rest of the house eat PB&J. You know they voted her ass out right after that, but at least she got that cheque!

    160. Angie Swindell

    Season: 10

    Placed: 11th

Memphis got all the way to 2nd place, but Angie's association with him made her an easy target.

    159. Jodi Rollins

    Season: 14

    Placed: Last

JUSTICE FOR JODI. It's always the black people who go out first when you make players evict someone before they even start playing the game. This was rude, Big Brother.

    158. Parker Somerville

    Season: 9

    Placed: 14th

Oh, the lost potential of black people on Big Brother. Maybe we'd know how awesome they could be if they were all in one season together where a large group of white people didn't get rid of them in five seconds.

    157. Nick Starcevic

    Season: 8

    Placed: 11th

Nick was Daniele's showmance during their season and he did America a solid by constantly working out shirtless. He got sent home and went on to real life romance several other Big Brother contestants from other seasons. What is this, The Bachelor Pad?

    156. Bunky Miller

    Season: 2

    Placed: 5th

Bunky was a bit overdramatic and tended to play the victim all the time, which Monica was certainly not having. We're all blessed he wasn't voted back in for All-Stars.

    155. Jessie Godderz

    154. Devin Shepherd

    Season: 16

    Placed: 14th

I'm no psychiatrist, but if you told me Devin was a serial killer I wouldn't be surprised.

    153. Sheryl Braxton

    Season: 2

    Placed: 11th

Sheryl was a nice woman who didn't fit in with the rest of the house, so she was evicted first (after Justin got kicked out).

    152. Erika Landin

    Season: 4, All-Stars

    Placed: 4th (Season 4), 2nd (All-Stars)

Erika was a pretty good player, I guess, in All-Stars. But in her first appearance on season 4, she proved herself to be a racist by calling Jee a "fresh off the boat immigrant" and a "Korean piece of shit." Okay, gurl.

    151. Sarah Hrejsa

    Season: 6

    Placed: 11th

Sarah was James' girlfriend and secret partner replacement after his friend dropped out. She made a show of saving him from the block when she won Power of Veto and ended up getting them both nominated the next week. James saved himself, she went out the door.

    150. Autumn Daly

    Season: 2

    Placed: 10th

Homegirl almost had a breakdown, and Shannon certainly didn't HELP matters. Autumn asked Shannon for dieting advice and Shannon just randomly put a bag of potato chips on her bed. It'd be funny if it weren't so oblivious and cruel.

    149. Kent Blackwelder

    Season: 2

    Placed: 7th

Kent tried to come for Monica and she was NOT having it. He had a brief moment of glory as Head of Household, but went out the house right after.

    148. Krista Stegall

    Season: 2

    Placed: 6th

She was engaged to Mike Boogie for a hot minute. I guess not all Big Brother romances last.

    147. Tonya Paoni

    Season: 3

    Placed: 11th

Tonya didn't make much of an impression her season, which is why she went out second. She was later charged with reckless homicide after leaving the house.

    146. Laura Stein

    Season: 11

    Placed: 12th

Divided into "cliques" in her season, Laura was on the Popular Clique. Turns out, being labeled "popular" isn't that great of a thing in the house. She went out second.

    145. Casey Turner

    Season: 11

    Placed: 11th

Casey wore a banana suit and went out in the third week.

    144. Eric Littmann

    Season: 6

    Placed: 12th

Eric defended the women in the house from Michael's sleazy advances, but he also took the fight too far in the sense that he alienated the other alliance in the house and got himself removed the week after Michael.

    143. Cassi Colvin

    Season: 13

    Placed: 12th

Cassi is now dating Chris D'Elia which must be her gift from God after joining the lame Regulators alliance and getting bounced from the show. People historically do not like Rachel Reilly on this show, so you have to be extra awful to be evicted after getting into a fight with her. EVERYONE fights with Rachel.

    142. Keith Henderson

    Season: 13

    Placed: 13th

Keith had a good idea to break up the veterans they were playing against, especially since a veteran (Rachel Reilly) ending up winning this season. But he went about it so poorly that everyone found out and turned against him. He was basically the Joey Van Pelt of his season. Never announce your plans to go against a majority of the house during the first week, bruh.

    141. Nathan Marlow

    Season: 4

    Placed: 8th

Nathan was used by Alison all season and when she got him voted out, he STILL voted for her to win in the finale. He was her only vote though.

    140. Spencer Clawson

    Season: 15

    Placed: 3rd

Spencer called Andy "Kermit the fag" at one point and was on the block every damn week. You know how the saying goes, "Always the pawn, never the winner."

    139. Chelsia Hart

    Season: 9

    Placed: 8th

Aside from making light of someone's father's suicide, latching onto the equally awful James did her no favors.

    138. Frankie Grande

    137. James Zinkand

    136. Shannon Dragoo

    Season: 2

    Placed: 9th

Shannon was the kind of reality TV bitch you love seeing on TV. She dropped potato chips on a girl's bed to call her fat, as previously mentioned, and she also scrubbed the toilet with Hardy's toothbrush. Queen.

    135. Justin Giovinco

    Season: 4

    Placed: 7th

Justin was Alison's ex, so he was always on the outside of the Elite 8 alliance. Fortunately for him, his flirtation with Dana kept him in the house for a while longer than he should've been.

    134. Kaitlin Barnaby

    Season: 15

    Placed: 14th

Everyone loves a bitch on reality TV, so you have to be playing an extra bad game to get voted out this early for being one.

    133. Karen Fowler

    Season: 1

    Placed: 8th

Queen Karen was so messy that I enjoyed watching her in this boring first season of the show where DR. DREW regularly appeared to psychoanalyze the guests with Chenbot. What even? She tried to divorce her husband while in the house, which made me wish she'd shown up on a later season where she would fit right in with all the crazy contestants to follow.

    132. Amber Siyavus

    131. Brittany Petros

    Season: 1

    Placed: 7th

Brittany had strong opinions about exotic dancers and about race. William called her one black friend a "token black friend" and Brittany insisted she knew what it was like to be a minority, because she lived in a 90% black town. Oh, the simpler times of the 2000s. She was a popular houseguest, but it's so hard to judge "gameplay" in this first season when America could decide who went home and Chicken George's family rallied to get her voted out the house.

    130. Karen Ganci

    Season: 5

    Placed: 5th

Karen was luckily in an all-women alliance that kept her safe until it was her time to go.

    129. Porsche Briggs

    Season: 13

    Placed: 2nd

Girl, I had to Google Porsche to remember who she was. How did she get to the final 2? Rachel was basically going through the motions during that final jury plea.

    128. JoJo Spatafora

    Season: 14

    Placed: 13th

My first response to see her name was: "JoJo played this game? The R&B singer JoJo?!?! Oh, wait." Which I guess means she was super memorable.

    127. Paola Shea

    Season: 16

    Placed: 15th

    LOL bye.

    126. Jean Jordan

    Season: 1

    Placed: 9th

Jordan nearly had a mental breakdown on television after revealing that she was an exotic dancer. Meanwhile, that's a reality TV pre-requisite these days.

    125. Monet Stunson

    124. Will Heuser

    123. Dustin Erikstrup

    Season: 8

    Placed: 9th

Dustin took $5,000 and a trip to Barbados. Naturally, the house got rid of him. At least he was cute and he got to vacation in Barbados.

    122. Jamie Marie Kern

    121. Curtis Kin

    120. Josh Souza

    119. Eddie McGee

    118. Kevin Campbell

    117. Victoria Rafaeli

    116. Marcellas Reynolds

    115. Joshuah Welch

    114. Jerry MacDonald

    Season: 10

    Placed: 3rd

"I hope you respected me because I respected you, Dan." But let's forget that you called him Judas, right? Jerry is one of those players who gets taken to the end simply by virtue of no one wanting to waste an eviction on him.

    113. Lawon Exum

    Season: 13

    Placed: 10th

Lawon was a bit extra, which would be fine if he weren't focused on being saved by some game twist instead of actually playing the game.

    112. Eric Ouellette

    Season: 3

    Placed: 10th

Eric romanced Lisa. Eric got evicted. Lisa didn't vote to bring Eric back in the house because she finally wised up and was about getting that money, not Eric's dick.

    111. Jen Diturno

    Season: 9

    Placed: 14th

Jen let Ryan lead her around like a blind mouse. Of all people — Ryan. Who we've already established is a minute man.

    110. Sharon Obermeuller

    Season: 9

    Placed: 4th

Sharon was evicted in the first elimination, but "luckily," Neil quit and she got to come back into the game. Too bad for her she didn't get to come back in a different season.

    109. Marvin Latimer

    108. Chiara Berti

    Season: 3

    Placed: 8th

Apparently, Chiara and Boogie dated after her season. Danielle grilled him about it on All-Stars.

    107. Josh Feinberg

    106. Rachel Plencner

    Season: 6

    Placed: 8th

Rachel was in the Sovereign Six alliance, but she wasn't one of the heavy hitters like Janelle, Howie, or Kaysar.

    105. Ivette Corredero

    Season: 6

    Placed: 2nd

Though the competition between both Ivette's alliance and Janelle's alliance was heated, I was always on Janelle's side because Ivette targeted her mostly out of personal reasons and not gameplay. Her alliance even asked her if it was personal and she said she just couldn't stand to look at her. Uh, okay, Ivette. She kept things less personal than Maggie, which is why Maggie ended up winning. Hell of a player, though.

    104. Dominic Briones

    103. Lydia Tavera

    102. Michelle Costa

    101. Scott Long

    100. Renny Martyn

    Season: 10

    Placed: 5th

Renny was a bit of a character, but I mostly enjoyed her and her feud with Jessie.

    99. Sheila Kennedy

    Season: 9

    Placed: 3rd

In retrospect, maybe Sheila got evicted by Adam because she wasn't going to join his drug ring after the show?! It's crazy that this is an actual thing that happened. In part because it's more interesting than anything that happened this season. Oh, Sheila pretended to be a lesbian, I guess.

    98. Gerry Lancaster

    Season: 3

    Placed: 7th

The most hilarious moment of season 3 is when Danielle catches Gerry leaving the bathroom without washing his hands and shares this information with the house. Then everyone realizes Gerry made a salad for them the previous night and he DIDN'T WASH HIS HANDS THEN EITHER. While everyone is disgusted, Lori starts caping for him and attacks Danielle. This is a thing that actually happened. 😭😭😭😭

    97. Lori Olsen

    Season: 3

    Placed: Last

Yeah, that fight Lori started with Danielle over Gerry's unwashed hands? Got her evicted first. Whoops!

    96. Nicole Schaffrich

    Season: 2

    Placed: 2nd

Will and Nicole had a flirty romance, which came to a hilarious head after they had a tension-charged night in a hot tub. Following that night, a plane with a banner flew over the house (supposedly from her husband Jeff) calling her out. Not quite as epic as Vaj calling Montana a whore on The Real World: Boston, but it was good enough.

    95. Jack Owens, Jr.

    Season: 4

    Placed: 6th

The former FBI agent tried "profiling" the houseguests to size them up, but it didn't really work. He called Jun the smartest player in the game, though, so clearly he knows what he's talking about.

    94. Alex Coladonato

    Season: 9

    Placed: 12th

If anything, Alex was definitely a better choice to come back into the game after an early eviction than James.

    93. Jameka Cameron

Jameka was a fun contestant 50% of the time. The other 50% she was sobbing about how God wanted her to do well in the competition. If only people on reality shows could realize that God has better things to do than worry about them winning a TV game show?

    92. Jessica Hughbanks

    Season: 8

    Placed: 6th

Jessica outlasted her ex-best friend Carol, then teamed up with Eric and the Donatos. Unfortunately, they turned on her and she went out the door. She managed to appear in the following season for a competition with Eric (they dated briefly), then had the chance to re-enter in season 11, but didn't win the opportunity.

    91. Ragan Fox

    90. Jase Wirey

    Season: 5, All-Stars

    Placed: 10th (Season 5), 12th (All-Stars)

I'm an unapologetic Jase fan. He can be funny, witty, and charming all the while being a complete jerk as well. And the less said about his bandanas, the better. His alliance imploded and he ended up with the honor of being the first person ever backdoored on Big Brother (nominated after the Veto ceremony, with no chance of saving himself). It's now become a time-honored tradition to secretly get rid of threats in the house. Always win the Veto, kids!

    89. Natalie Cunial

    Season: 9

    Placed: 5th

Poor Natalie didn't realize her partner Matty hated her. But also, being oblivious is hardly a point toward "best" in any kind of game.

    88. Jessie Kowalski

    Season: 15

    Placed: 10th

Pour one out for another sweet, good-natured houseguest who gets eaten alive by the other sharks in the game.

    87. Amanda Hansen

    Season: 9

    Placed: 12th

Amanda never had much of a killer streak, which is why she wasn't destined to go far in this game.

    86. "Chicken" George Boswell

    Seasons: 1, All-Stars

    Placed: 5th (Both seasons)

The official jester of Big Brother, I was never much of a fan of George, but good on him being the only first season contestant to ever get brought back to compete again. People in the house either enjoyed him or were annoyed by him, but no one took him seriously as a genuine threat to the final prize.

    85. Roddy Mancuso

    Season: 3

    Placed: 6th

Without America voting, this was not the season for pretty white boys to win. Roddy and Eric would've been top two in season 1, but in season 3, women were pulling the strings. He got a great guest gig on the classic sitcom Yes, Dear out of his stint in the house, though!

    84. Libra Thompson

    Season: 10

    Placed: 9th

Libra was a pretty good player, but she got stuck in an alliance dominated by April and Ollie who never considered her a player at their level. Which is hilarious, because Dan played all of them, but no one knew that at a time.

    83. Will Wikle

    Season: 5

    Placed: 9th

Will is another gay contestant who has gone on from the show to being a sex god. Will doesn't do porn, but he's pretty much gay porn adjacent and had his own show on Bravo for a bit.

    82. Caleb Reynolds

    81. Matt McDonald

    80. Ashley Iocco

    Season: 14

    Placed: 9th

Sweet personality, but not much of a player when you're mostly remembered for going on "dates" with other houseguests while you were supposed to be playing a game.

    79. Beau Beasley

    Season: 6

    Placed: 6th

Beau's fight with Janelle is a THING OF BEAUTY. I crack up every time he shouts "Polyester hair! Polyester hair!" Janelle was mostly taunting the other alliance to get them riled up, while Beau took the fight a bit more seriously (he was also drunk).

    78. April Dowling

    77. Bryan Ollie

    Season: 10

    Placed: 6th

He and April had a good run. They had no idea that Dan was manipulating the hell out of them, but after April went, Ollie really SHOULDN'T have trusted Dan when he said he'd save Michelle. Ollie losing his ally and then going the next week was his own fault.

    76. Andrew Gordon

    75. Kathy Hillis

    74. McCrae Olson

    Season: 15

    Placed: 4th

McCrae was more excited about having sex with Amanda in the house than he was about playing the game.

    73. Michele Noonan

    Season: 11

    Placed: 4th

I wanted to like her, but her devotion to Jeff was a big strike against her. Once they all orchestrated Russell's eviction, I was done with her, as was most of the jury.

    72. Allison Nichols

    Season: 9

    Placed: 10th

Everyone in the house hated her, which is laughable since no one watching liked anyone on season 9. But as they say, the enemy of my enemies is my friend, so congrats Allison, you were the most enjoyable person in season 9.

    71. Brittany Martinez

    Season: 16

    Placed: 13th

She did well in a challenge, or maybe two, but she went so early that she's forgettable.

    70. Shelly Moore

    Season: 13

    Placed: 6th

Shelly was actually a really cool, enjoyable to watch houseguest. She never seemed like she would win ever, but I appreciated having her in the house.

    69. Diane Henry

    Seasons: 5, All-Stars

    Placed: 3rd (Season 5), 11th (All-Stars)

Diane started a romance with Drew, the winner of season 5, but that came to an abrupt end when he voted her out of the house and left her with 3rd place. She returned for All-Stars but was pretty much a low-key player as opposed to her original season.

    68. Zach Swerdzewski

    Season: 8

    Placed: 3rd

Zach played pretty well and got far in his season, but he didn't make much of a lasting impression in a season full of such big personalities. He was basically caught in the middle between Dick and Daniele versus the rest of the house and ended up in 3rd place by default. He tried coming for Dick and Daniele during the final 4, but it was too little, too late.

    67. Kalia Booker

    Season: 13

    Placed: 5th

She flipped her allegiance to Porsche and Daniele, which, I mean, I'd align against Rachel and Brendon too if I could but it barely made any sense. The minute she was nominated with Porsche she got sent out the house. Good allegiance shifting, Kalia!

    66. Joe Arvin

    Season: 14

    Placed: 7th

A chef who was ironically not the sharpest knife in the kitchen. To be fair, Willie Hantz did HEADBUTT him, so he might have suffered a concussion.

    65. Hayden Voss

    Season: 16

    Placed: 10th

Hayden's overly-hyped romance with Nicole was fast-forward material.

    64. Lisa Donahue

    63. Christine Brecht

    Season: 16

    Placed: 6th

Usually people only get booed when they leave the house because they're racist, but man, Christine and her whack flirtation with Cody and turning on Hayden and Nicole for no discernible reason was bogus af.

    62. Jenn Arroyo

    61. Nicole Franzel

    60. Eric Stein

    59. Adria Klein & Natalie Carroll

    58. Nakomis Dedmon

    57. Jee Choe

    Season: 4

    Placed: 5th

Jee was Jun's ex and they often pretended to argue to make people think they hated each other. He was also aligned against the Elite 8, being one of the exes brought into the house. He played a pretty damn good game, but he ultimately fell prey to Alison and Jun's schemes.

    56. Robert Roman

    Season: 4

    Placed: 3rd

Erika's ex, Robert was immediately on the outs with the Elite 8 alliance when he stepped into the house. But he managed to create a counter-alliance and also sway Erika back to his side. Alison caught wind of this and eliminated Erika before eliminating Robert.

    55. Judd Daugherty

    54. Amanda Zuckerman

    53. Helen Kim

    52. Natalie Martinez

    Season: 11

    Placed: 2nd

Rewatching season 11, I have a newfound appreciation for how much she hated Michele and her alliance with Jeff. Natalie, if only you could've won, girl. You're more of an All-Star than the winner of your season.

    51. Joey Van Pelt

    Season: 16

    Placed: Last

Some people might consider her the worst player of the season for telling Devin about her all-women alliance plans, but this sage oracle predicted everything that happened in the game and every other woman got picked off just like she said, so... who really had the last laugh?

    50. Kristen Bitting

    Season: 12

    Placed: 10th

She suffered from The Curse of Realizing There's A Secret Alliance But You Get Evicted Before You Can Do Anything About It.

    49. Jen Johnson

    48. Jocasta Odom

    47. Aaryn Gries

    46. GinaMarie Zimmerman

    Season: 15

    Placed: 2nd

The other big racist in season 15, GinaMarie played her ass off in the game and I kinda wanted her to win over Andy. Once Aaryn got booted, she still managed to survive even though she should've been out the door next. Even though I never truly liked her, I gotta give her props for going balls-out to win the game.

    45. Elissa Slater

    Season: 15

    Placed: 6th

Elissa, Rachel Reilly's sister, hid her secret for as long as she could in the house. Once everyone figured it out, she became a target without an alliance until she managed to save herself. She teamed up with Helen for a while, but once Helen got evicted, Elissa was on her own again. She never really stood a chance with everyone in the house gunning for her. She saved herself with a POV, but the week she didn't win, she finally went home.

    44. Michael "Cowboy" Ellis

    Season: 5

    Placed: 2nd

Michael discovered he had a half-sister in the house, because sometimes this show is weird AF. Their bonding ended up being kind of sweet, though I was more rooting for her to win the prize instead of him and any of those Four Horsemen alliance mooks. He didn't win, but his last remaining alliance member Drew did.

    43. Danielle Murphree

    42. Hardy Ames-Hill

    Season: 2

    Placed: 4th

Hardy was basically Captain America and he HATED Will. He tried to evict him every time he was Head of Household and it never worked. Knowing he was a real threat to his win, Will was finally the one to evict Hardy.

    41. Memphis Garrett

    40. Lane Elenburg

    Season: 12

    Placed: 2nd

Lane was nice to look at. He was also a member of The Brigade, which, ugh. I remember Enzo and Hayden mostly being the brains of this operation, but Lane also managed to never be a Have Not, so kudos, I guess.

    39. Enzo Palumbo

    Season: 12

    Placed: 3rd

This man called himself The Meow Meow. He also ran a successful and annoying alliance, but more importantly — THE MEOW MEOW.

    38. Brendon Villegas

    37. Andy Herren

    36. Amber Borzotra

    Season: 16

    Placed: 12th

Poor Amber. She wouldn't have exactly gone far, but her entire game was dictated by Caleb's weird obsession with her. After he went, she was alienated from the rest of the house and it was only a matter of time.

    35. Shane Meaney

    Season: 14

    Placed: 4th

Shane was a hell of a competition player and he was hot, but in the battle for Danielle's allegiance he was always going to lose out. He's kind of the Brenda Walsh of Big Brother.

    34. Chima Simone

    33. Matt Hoffman

    Season: 12

    Placed: 7th

I wouldn't mind seeing Matt again. He started the dreaded Brigade alliance, but he also got Ides of Marched by his alliance too. He and Hayden were the more likable Brigade members, but once Enzo bulldozed his way to the Brigade leadership spot, Matt was a goner.

    32. James Rhine

    31. Hayden Moss

    30. Howard Overby

    29. Amy Crews

    Season: 3

    Placed: 4th

Amy da GAWD. She was evicted from the house but came back in a surprise twist. Her relationship with Marcellas was beautiful, a southern belle befriending a black gay man seemed like a revelation on television in 2002. She was a hell of a game player and incredibly likable and it's a shame her wedding was the same summer as the All-Stars season, because she might've returned and gone on to even more greatness.

    28. Cody Calafiore

    27. Derrick Levasseur

    26. Drew Daniel

The Four Horsemen alliance pretty much fell apart, but Drew and Cowboy lived to make it to the final 2. Drew shocked everyone by sending his showmance Diane out the door, but he still ended up winning the game. His alliance kept him from ever being nominated, so he didn't have much actual fighting to do for his top spot, but he definitely earned it.

    25. Frank Eudy

    24. Jennifer Vasquez

    Season: 6

    Placed: 9th

Jennifer's a boss who managed to last 14 hours in a HOH competition. She used her newfound power to backstab Kaysar, which led to her own demise the week later. But that's only because season 6 was full of COMPETITORS and two alliances battling it out week to week.

    23. April Lewis

    Season: 6

    Placed: 4th

April's battles with Howie were epic and never-ending. She was one of the more bitter members of her alliance, always playing emotionally instead of strategically. Howie's taunts were juvenile, but she let comments about him eating her dog get to her. Girl. This made her a bigger target and kept her from going to the end with her alliance.

    22. Howie Gordon

    Seasons: 6, All-Stars

    Placed: 5th (Season 6), 8th (All-Stars)

Howie was a hilarious person to have in the house and his devotion to Janelle was the best thing about him. He was unfortunately betrayed by Chicken George during All-Stars.

    21. Maggie Ausburn

    Season: 6

    Placed: Won

Maggie's alliance ended up edging out the Sovereign Six during her season. It was Ivette's scheming and emotional playing that got them to the end, and Ivette who was able to evict Janelle and take Maggie to the finale. Unfortunately for Ivette, everyone voted for Maggie to win the game.

    20. Keesha Smith

    Season: 10

    Placed: 4th

Poor Keesha. She kept Dan in the house so many times, only to get stabbed in the back by him and Memphis. The brilliance of her ouster was that it looked like Memphis and Dan disagreed on getting rid of her, but in actuality, they were in cahoots. It was a plan that bit Memphis in the ass and worked in Dan's favor.

    19. Candice Stewart

    18. Alison Irwin

    17. Donny Thompson

    16. Mike "Boogie" Malin

    15. Ian Terry

    14. Jason Guy

    13. Russell Kairouz

    12. Monica Bailey

    Season: 2

    Placed: 3rd

"It's going to be ON." Monica is a boss. If Will hadn't one, the only substitute acceptable would've been Monica because she always kept it 💯. The saddest thing in the world was Monica not being voted back into the house for All-Stars. America, you're awful!

    11. Zach Rance

    10. Dick Donato

    9. Kaysar Ridha

    8. Rachel Reilly

Also, never forget that Rachel gave us the best quote in Big Brother history: "Floaters, you better grab a life vest!"

    7. Jun Song

    Season: 4

    Placed: Won

Queen Jun was the best player in season 4, because she played a social game while also stabbing people "in the front" as it was put during the finale. Her partner Alison schemed and plotted behind-the-scenes, but Jun was upfront with her vindictive gameplay. People ended up respecting that more and gave her the prize. She hasn't returned to the series, but why would she need to? Her record is perfect and it will remain that way.

    6. Britney Haynes

    5. Daniele Donato

    4. Janelle Pierzina

    3. Dr. Will Kirby

    2. Dan Gheesling

    1. Danielle Reyes
