For many of us, especially those of whose lifestyles are drastically affected by the outcome of the elections (i.e. minority/otherwise generally oppressed demographics), the election was an extremely big deal that was directly related to our own personal quality of life. As an LGBT American, I felt immense joy when President Obama was reelected, because it meant that I would have a president for another four years who I could trust to defend my rights as a human being and as a citizen. These images say pretty much everything I felt when I found out he was reelected, and I highly commend you for sharing this set of images because it resonates so personally with so many of us.
