More than a love story between two sweet lovers. The story of the love a man, and his woman, have for their country, for the ideal of freedom for all, regardless of nation, love for fellow man such that he was willing to lay down his own life for the rest of us flabby fools. This young man, and his beloved, volunteered to put his life in peril so that you and I wouldn’t have to. The least we can do is not make them sorry. Make our use of all the rights conferred by the Constitution and Bill of Rights honorable, admirable, respectful, uplifting if not inspirational, rather than being course, callous and cruel with our words. No, not candy coated BS, but aspirational and hopeful, rather than trollish and hateful. Were it not for the massive generosity of these two amazing Americans, the world would be considerably darker and more hopeless. The huge sacrifice they both made, HUGE… it’s overwhelming. None of us deserve the benefit of that sacrifice, none. I’m making a donation to Wounded Warriors and Fisher House right now. And, no combat veteran should ever be without a permanent home, ever. Thank goodness that at least, his bionic prosthetics—and they are better than ever, thanks to DARPA (suck it haters)—are paid for by his country. At least…
