This Twitter Account Is Hilariously Mocking ISIS With Popular Karaoke Songs

The guy behind it told BuzzFeed he hates both ISIS and karaoke.

A new Twitter account is taking the piss out of ISIS in the best possible way – with cheesy pop music.

"If I were a boy, even just for a day, I’d roll outta bed in the morning, and throw on what I wanted and go"

It's pretty good trolling, considering that ISIS has banned music in the areas it currently controls in Iraq and Syria – although that hasn't stopped some of its fighters producing their own low grade rap videos.

The account, called "ISIS Karaoke", takes stills from ISIS propaganda videos, and then captions them with lyrics of well known pop artists, including Beyonce and Britney Spears.

"Straight outta Compton, a crazy motherfucker named Ice Cube"

Some of them, arguably, may have gone a bit too far...

"You! I wanna take you to a gay bar, I wanna take you to a gay bar, I wanna take you to a gay bar, gay bar, gay bar"

It was set up by a 32-year-old man called "Jimmy", who told BuzzFeed News he hated both ISIS and Karaoke.

"With a taste of your lips, I’m on a ride, you're toxic I'm slipping under"

Jimmy told BuzzFeed that he had set up the account randomly, adding: "Mel Brooks once said something about laughing at the barbaric (in his case the nazis) and I guess that's all I'm doing really."

Despite a comprehensive knowledge of tunes, Jimmy says he "hates karaoke".

Asked about the account's huge surge in popularity since it launched a week ago, he said, : " I had no idea it would blow up so quick (no pun intended)."

"My milkshake brings all the boys to the yard, and they're like it's better than yours"

Jimmy says he'll continue to post images onto the account, but warned that one drawback "is that I'll run out of images of ISIS with mics eventually".
