SitaSky 2 months agoI’m not going to like someone just because they are succesful, there’s lots of awful successful people in the world including Kim Kardashian, Donald Trump, Chris Brown, etc. But, I do agree that people shouldn’t hate on Taylor, really the girl can’t help it. She’s a sweetheart in interviews and she’s really pretty so guys will be interested in her. I don’t like how she airs her dirty laundry but what singer doesn’t? I’m not a fan of her music really, I like “I knew you were trouble” but that’s it. Everyone just needs to chill and let a girl be a girl and do what she wants. If it was a guy singing about all the ladies he’s been to bed with no one would care.

IDK, Adele’s sounds mature and emotionally wrought, hers often sounds like a 16 year old scrawled it in a notebook after the boy she was dating this week broke up with her.

legibbo 2 months agoWow. Did taylor write this herself?? While I will admit that I like some of her songs, and honestly from her 1st to maybeee 3rd albums, considered myself a fan of her… now she has become completly annoying. The whiny “you broke my heart and its all your fault” songs were ok when she was 17… but she’s what… 22, 23 now? She’s extremely immature. Grow up.. try something new with your music.. and no. Going from extremely popish country to just plain pop is not something new.

I honestly am not her biggest fan because her music isn’t my first choice of genre. But, I can admit she has great talent in performance and writing music. My big issue: she can come off as a bully. If the majority of her songs that reach the public have a negative message about a person. it reflects badly on her as a whole. I’m not saying she needs to “get it together” but maybe she could try to write songs about positives of life/relationships/friends/family/etc. She has the talent, but sticks to her “post relationship” comfort zone.

She is not a bully. The guys that break up with her deserve to get songs written about them. That is the type of songwriter she is. As she says in the booklet to Fearless “Anyone who doesn’t like that I wrote a song about them on this Cd: You had Fair Warning.

For me to have respect for Taylor swift, she needs to do a few things
1) Date no one, or date a random, and keep it very private.
2) Write an album that isn’t only about guys. Adele wrote one album about a break up, while every single T swizzle album has been about relationships.
3) When she performs, do it without 40 clowns on stage with her.
