    You think that when he doesn't help

    he is being unkind.

    Well, you might find this hard to believe.

    He cannot read your mind.

    Sure, you wish he'd volunteer.

    But, he can't hear your thoughts.

    There is no way he can divine

    your would've, should've, oughts.

    So if you don't want him to blame

    your sulking mood on drinking,

    you're going to have to just break down

    and tell him what you're thinking.

    It's time to end this pointless game.

    Stop playing the shy debutante.

    The best way to communicate

    is simply stating what you want.
