partisan ideological bullshit turns off audiences all the time. Even though there's enough of a built in kneejerk fanbase to support most shows when they start their insular political shark-jumping doesn't mean that they will stick around for long. If I want made up political theatre I'll watch CNN or The Daily Show. When I want comedy, based on a family situation, or a profession, or space aliens living in New York, *that*s what I want-not preaching by fundies, gay rights, gun nuts, neocons, leftists, greens or administration-funded propaganda artists. Your actors' personal or paid-for beliefs are irrelevant to the show, and if they are important to me I will seek out the interviews from the fawning press. Make too much noise about your views and do not be surprised that many viewers will turn away. Even if they agree.
