    You may know them as Gendry and Gilly, but before their big break on Game of Thrones Joe Dempsie and Hannah Murray enjoyed 2 successful seasons on the teen hit Skins.

    The Fades

    After Skins, Joe Dempsie took up another role this time in the short lived BAFTA winning series The Fades alongside fellow cast member Natalie Dormer (Margaery Tyrell). Only 6 episodes in length, these two characters are sure to scare the living daylights out of you.

    Misfits

    If you haven't gotten sick of seeing Ramsay (Iwan Rheon), the not so lovable bastard from House Bolton, then you're in luck! He starred in Misfits as the mysterious outcast Simon. Though they never cross paths, Ellie Kendrick (Meera on GoT) appears in later seasons as Helen.

    Downton Abbey

    Despite never sharing screen time, both Iain Glen (Jorah Mormont) and Rose Leslie (Ygritte) starred in Downton Abbey.

    Ripper Street

    Iain Glen guest starred in one episode of Ripper Street with the show's main star Jerome Flynn (Bronn).

    Tomb Raider

    Iain Glen starred in Lara Croft: Tomb Raider. Ciaran Hinds (pictured on the left holding the ball, Mance Rayder on GoT) starred in Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life . While Noah Taylor (pictured behind Jolie, Locke on GoT) starred in both flicks.

    Rome

    Ciaran Hinds also starred in the HBO series Rome alongside Tobias Menzies (Edmure Tully) and Indira Varma (Ellaria Sand).

    Suits

    Not too long ago Suits had a British invasion of its own when Michelle Fairley (Catelyn Stark) and Conleth Hill (Lord Varys) took Pearson Hardman by storm.

    Harry Potter

    Michelle Fairley also featured in the Harry Potter series. In addition, David Bradley (Walder Frey), Natalia Tena (Osha), and Ralph Ineson (Dagmer Cleftjaw, House Greyjoy) also feature in the film series.

    The Office (UK)

    Ralph Ineson also appears in The Office with Mackenzie Crook (Orell, the wildling warg).

    Black Death

    Sean Bean (Ned Stark) and Carice van Houten (Melisandre/The Red Lady) featured in the 2010 film Black Death about the first outbreak of the bubonic plague.

    Batman

    Jack Gleeson (Joffrey Baratheon) starred in Batman Begins while Aidan Gillen (Petyr 'Littlefinger' Baelish) appears in the final Batman installment, The Dark Knight Rises.

    Sarah Connor

    Lena Headey (Cersei Lannister) played Sarah Connor for 2 seasons on the FOX show Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. Emilia Clark (Daenerys Targaryen) will also play Sarah Connor in the film version of the Terminator.

    Dr. Who
