Just thinking about this movie is enough to make me tear up. In the beginning of the movie nearly the entire Marshall University football team, the coaches, and some fans die in a plane crash. The school must rebuild it’s team from scratch and heal the community. If you’re not crying during this movie you have no heart, it’s that simple.
16. Cool Runnings
This 1993 film is based on the first Jamaican bobsled team trying to make it to the Olympics. It’s a great story about determination and gaining respect. You’ll love it!
During the Depression, it is this incredible horse that lifts the spirits of his racing team and the nation. It is a great racing story about redemption, rebuilding one’s life, and glory. I won’t tell if you’re wiping your eyes at the end I promise.
