An unplugged radio in a full tub wouldn’t do squat, anyway. Just another cry for attention.

It just looks messy to me.
#4 is an Engrished sign from a Japanese drugstore or the like, indicating that the items in that aisle are for people who aren’t feeling well or want to recover from being drunk/hungover. Giving it new life in a bar is pretty genius.
Hell, my 1999 Corolla is too low for some drive-thru windows these days. :(
I’m thinking #7 is originally from copy used to promote Twin Peaks. “Damn fine coffee” in particular stands out as being from that show, and all the other things mentioned played significant roles in it as well.
I still have the Tudor Family House. The foam “mattresses” didn’t really stand the test of time, but the whole set was sturdy enough that my son got some good hard play out of it. I found him a few replacement figures on Ebay after he accidentally dropped one in a sewer grate. :(
Keith Ward was responsible for at least a few of these (see the “Keith Ward” under the guppy’s water-splash and the “KW” under the unicorn’s scraggly mane). I’m guessing he did the others that look most similar to these two (and maybe the rest).
I guess he took a hint from Jack Benny.
Interesting that the last poster is actually targeted toward clean (?) women potentially dealing with dirty servicemen instead of the other way around.
I bet that kid never, ever forgot that time his dad lifted him up to be licked by a giraffe. Fantastic.
